When passing through this smal enchanting village, one of the oldest in our region, be sure to stop off at St. James Anglican Church. This unusual eight-sided church, built in 1831, the Leeds Model School (1896) used during the summer as a theatre, the Alexander Rectory which dates back to 1837 and the Sunday River School (1890) are all historical reminders of the Irish who settled in the area. The heritage site offers guided tours during the summer.
